Dailymotion Launches New Interactive Advertising Formats for Connected TV, IPTV

--Says It Will Announce Several New Connected TV Partnerships at CES

Paris-based video-sharing site operator, Dailymotion, on Tuesday announced the launch of new interactive advertising formats that are designed for connected TV (OTT) and IPTV implementations of its service. The company says that the new formats--which come on the heels of its launch of an ad-supported iPhone/iPod touch application (see the article published on itvt.com, December 22nd)--expand its "ad-supported content strategy to all three screens."

Visiware Launches New Version of its ITV Games Portal on Numericable

Paris-based interactive TV games company, Visiware, recently contacted [itvt] to let us know that it has launched a new version of its Playin'TV games portal on the networks of French cable operator, Numericable. According to the company, the portal--which is offered on Numericable channels 58 and 180 for a monthly fee of 5 Euros--now features a "more appealing" design, that can be adapted for occasions such as Christmas or Valentine's Day; a simpler and more intuitive navigation system that lists games in various categories; a selection of 35 games each week; and optimized download times.

New Visiware Interactive TV Games Offering Leverages VOD Platforms

Paris-based interactive TV games company, Visiware, has launched an
interactive TV games offering that leverages VOD platforms to offer
video and other rich-media content.
Dubbed Playin'VOD, the new
offering will initially be targeted at cable and IPTV operators, but will
later be available for mobile phones and personal media players, and
also for hospitality deployments, the company says. "Visiware is
reinventing gaming on TV," Visiware executive chairman, Laurant
