The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Interactive Media Peer Group has issued a call for entries for the 2011 Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media. The deadline for entries is April 29th.

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Interactive Media Peer Group (IMPG) recently contacted [itvt] to let us know 1) that it has revised its membership eligibility requirements; 2) that it has appointed three new Awards Working Group co-chairs for next year's Primetime Emmy Awards for Interactive Media.

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences said Wednesday that its Emmys.com Web site, NBC.com and social TV-enabled live video streaming company, Ustream (note: the latter offers users of its service a social TV experience via its Social Stream capability, which enables real-time interactions through Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and AIM integrations), are partnering to offer exclusive live-streaming behind-the-scenes coverage of the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards, which will take place this Sunday (5:00-8:00PM Pacific, 8:00-11:00PM, Eastern).
