--Box also Supports BBC iPlayer
Geneva-based set-top box/digital TV technology provider, Advanced Digital Broadcast (ADB), on Monday announced a deal with Top Up TV, a company that operates a pay-TV service that supplements the UK's free-to-air digital terrestrial service, Freeview. According to the company, the deal will allow users of its i-CAN Easy HD DVB-T2 set-top box (note: i-CAN is a retail brand of ADB) to access Premier League soccer and other sports coverage through Sky Sports 1 and 2 and ESPN.
Geneva-based set-top box/digital TV technology provider, Advanced Digital Broadcast (ADB), said Tuesday that Indonesian pay-TV operator, First Media, will use its products and solutions to deploy what it bills as Indonesia's first HD pay-TV service. The deal is ADB's first in the Indonesian market. According to the company, its technologies will enable First Media customers to access a range of advanced services, including interactive TV and VOD, in addition to HDTV.
