SPEAKERS

The TV of Tomorrow Show's sessions will explore such themes as interactive multiplatform programming and advertising strategies, interactive interface design, user-generated content, emerging standards, technologies and tools, and much, much more. [itvt] is currently in the process of lining up an impressive group of speakers and will be announcing more details about this in an upcoming issue. If you are interested in applying for a speaking position at the event, email us at speakers@itvt.com or call 415-824-5806

We are seeking speakers and panelists with expertise in topics such as the following: the intersection of Web 2.0/social-networking platforms and television; multiplatform interactive gaming; machinima; next-generation DVR- and VOD-based interactive TV; cross-platform interactive advertising strategies; user-generated content and the television "fan base"; the future of metadata; the emergence of big-budget broadband TV; building multiplatform relationships with viewers; the impact of new HD and 3D display technologies on interactive TV; the practicalities of interactive content development, deployment, and tracking; emerging interactive business models; cross-platform interface design strategies; the convergence of the interactive TV and IPTV industries; the current status of, and new developments in, ITV standards, such as OCAP, MHP, E-BIF and MHEG; new tools for creatives; new developments in SoC's and set-top boxes.

We are also very interested in hearing your suggestions for topics you would like to see covered at the TV of Tomorrow Show, including possible topics for debates. And, if your company is launching a new product, service or content asset shortly after the show, we may be interested in featuring it as an "exclusive" in a dedicated "newsmaker" session (as well as in a special issue of the newsletter).

In general, we expect TV of Tomorrow Show speakers and panelists to be people of significant vision, passion and expertise, who are not afraid to share original ideas and to take controversial stands. We are not interested in the safe, self-serving corporate PowerPoint presentations that unfortunately seem to predominate at so many other conferences today.

Please note that TV of Tomorrow Show speakers do not have to be sponsors and will receive free admission to the conference. Because of this, and because of the great success of last year's show, be aware that competition for speaking and panel slots will likely be quite fierce, and that we will unfortunately not be able to accept every application.
