Interactive TV Commerce Expert, Will Keller, Named EVP of International Business at HSE24

--Will Lead the German Home-Shopping Company's International Expansion

Will Keller--who will be familiar to many of our readers from his [itvt] blog and from the highly praised debate session that he organized at TVOT San Francisco last spring--has been appointed to the newly created post of EVP of international business at Munich-based TV home-shopping company, Home Shopping Europe (HSE24).

In his new role, Keller will be tasked with managing the company's internationalization strategy, and will report directly to its CEO, Richard Reitzner. His duties will include managing its operations in non-German-speaking markets: the company expanded into Russia earlier this year, when it acquired a stake in Russian home shopping channel, Shopping Live; and it has operated an Italian subsidiary since mid-2011.

Since 2008, Keller has been president of Interactive TV Commerce, a boutique consulting firm which, as its name suggests, focuses on the intersection of interactive TV and television shopping. From 1996 to 2007, he held a number of excutive posts at HSN, including SVP of sales planning and programming, and general manager of HSN's sister channel. Prior to that, he worked for QVC and Disney. He is a graduate of Harvard Business School. "With the appointment of Will Keller, we have gained one of the most renowned teleshopping experts worldwide," HSE24 CEO, Reitzner, said in a prepared statement. "His strategic and operative expertise and his entrepreneurial talent will help us secure profitable growth on the international markets while further stepping up our rate of expansion."
