-- Combination Could Enable Remote DVR, Tcommerce and Social Media Applications
FourthWall Media is teaming up with Motorola Mobility to pitch software to cable operators that will allow distributors to deliver interactive applications to mobile devices. The company said Tuesday that Motorola will package its EBIF platform and AirCommand solution with its Motorola Medios multi-screen service management software suite.
AirCommand is a set of cloud-based services that can connect mobile phones and tablets to EBIF-enabled set-tops. FourthWall said applications that could be delivered by adding AirCommand to the Medios system include remote programming of DVRs, tcommerce, and social media and messaging applications.
