Qwiki Launches iPad App

Visual search firm Qwiki launched a free app for Apple's iPad, which offers users location-specific information with still images, videos and audio commentary. The app allows users to browse more than 3 million "Qwikis," and the company is adding new topics daily. Often described as a "talking Wikipedia," San Francisco-based Qwiki debuted in September. It  has raised $10.5 million in funding to date.  More
