Introducing [itvt] Blogger, Wes Williams

[itvt] is pleased to introduce our newest blogger/columnist: WES WILLIAMS, who also happens to be director of online production at Scripps Networks.

Wes has been using his [itvt] blog to publish a series of in-depth reviews of broadcasters' iPad-based two-screen interactive TV apps, including ABC's "Oscar Backstage Pass" and "Grey's Anatomy Sync," and Fox's "Bones Show Companion." He has also published an interesting piece on how TV shows spread news through social media: among other things, the piece reveals that broadcasters who use the URL shortener, bit.ly, in tweets about their shows might be giving away more information than they think.

We should, of course, point out that Wes's blog postings have not been approved by Scripps and should not be assumed to represent that company's views.
