Multiscreen video technology company, SeaChange International, has announced plans to hold an event called The SeaChange International Summit: Monetizing Multi-Screen Video, on April 27th at Le Parker Meridien in New York City. According to the company, the event will bring together video operators and service providers, and content and technology stakeholders from around the world to share "real-world strategies and experiences that are creating real business value from multiscreen video services." The company says that confirmed participants are from such companies as Cablevision Mexico, Comcast, du, Rogers Communications, Turk Telekom and Vodafone. "Our event is different in that we are hosting a discussion of global companies who have deployed multiscreen services and are making money
with them in very creative ways," SeaChange International president, Yvette Kanouff, said in a prepared statement. "This is not an event by SeaChange about SeaChange--it's a forum for sharing of ideas from cable operators and service providers worldwide, along with content and technology companies who have experience with multiscreen video deployments. We're facilitating the discussion because we think there is a real need for companies to learn what's going on around the world in multiscreen video."
Topics to be discussed at the event, according to SeaChange, include capitalizing on multiscreen video through OTT, content bundling and marketing strategies, advertising strategies, personalized apps and social media, and research. More information on the event is available at http://www.seachangesummit.com.
