New Jet Set Column: "President Obama, Pimm Fox and Me--The Business of TV in NYC"

[itvt] has just published the LATEST EDITION of our regular column, "Jet Set," which is authored by Brian David Johnson, consumer experience architect at Intel Corp. "Jet Set" explores the future of TV through the prism of the places, people and conversations that Johnson experiences as he goes on a global tour for his new book, Screen Future.

This edition of "Jet Set," entitled "President Obama, Pimm Fox and Me--The Business of TV in NYC," sees Johnson visiting the offices of Bloomberg Radio in New York City, encountering President Obama's motorcade, sharing some thoughts on the interrelationship between television and business, and arguing that "from the beginning, [television] has been a hungry technology, absorbing and adapting new developments in technology, culture, and consumer tastes."

(Note: The [itvt] editorial team is on the road this week, so we will not be publishing daily news until after the holidays. We apologize to our readers for any inconvenience.)
