New Edition of "Jet Set" Uses Comic-Con and "Star Trek" to Explore the Future of Entertainment

[itvt] has just published the latest edition of our new regular column, "Jet Set," which is authored by Brian David Johnson, consumer experience architect at Intel Corp. "Jet Set" explores the future of TV through the prism of the places, people and conversations that Johnson experiences as he goes on a global tour for his new book, Screen Future.


This edition of "Jet Set," entitled "Comic-Con 2010--Visiting a Parallel Universe: San Diego," sees Johnson sharing some thoughts on what the rapidly evolving world of comics can tell us about the future of entertainment. It also includes a conversation with Amy Reinhard, SVP of strategic planning and

business development at Paramount Pictures, who explains how that company has "rebooted and reinvented" its "Star Trek" franchise for the new multiplatform universe.
