Justin.tv Rolls Out Deeper Integration with Facebook

In a posting on its corporate blog last week, Justin.tv, a San Francisco-based company that bills itself as "the largest online community for people to broadcast, watch and interact around live video," announced that it has rolled out deeper Facebook integration, in order to help users to discover their Facebook friends on its service and to enable them to share more easily on Facebook when they broadcast.

"Finding your Facebook friends on Justin.tv just got easier," the company stated in its blog post. "If you already have a Justin.tv account simply connect from the banner at the top of your screen...We will find and follow your friends who already use Justin.tv automatically, so you can connect with them effortlessly. When you connect, sharing also becomes much simpler when you enable a feature called Auto-Share. Auto-Share alerts your Facebook friends that you have gone live automatically. You can even customize the message sent to Facebook." (Note: the Auto-Share feature is off by default.) Justin.tv says that new users can now join its service more easily by using Facebook to pre-populate its sign-up form, automatically follow friends already on its service, and instantly have a profile image.
