Broadband video and home connectivity solutions provider, Entone (note: the company recently announced a deal with OTT specialist, Vudu, to enable hybrid TV for telco operators--see the article published on itvt.com, March 19th), said last week that it has appointed Don Paige as director of sales to lead its efforts in North America, Southeastern Region.
According to the company, Paige has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, and nearly a decade of sales leadership experience. Most recently, he was director of sales at Toly Digital Networks. Prior to that, he was director of IOC sales at Motorola and regional sales director at EO Networks. "Don's extensive experience and in-depth technical knowledge of broadband video and set-top box technologies, as well as his established relationships with key industry leaders, will be a valuable asset," Entone's VP of sales, Gerard Pearce, said in a prepared statement. "This new position further extends Entone's presence in the region and reinforces the company's commitment to providing next-generation IP video and home connectivity solutions." Added Paige: "This is a dynamic time in the IP video industry. Entone's multistream and hybrid TV products are well suited for operators seeking to offer their subscribers a more compelling video experience."
