Paris-based interactive TV games company, Visiware, announced Wednesday that its ITV games are now available on Telus Satellite TV in British Columbia and Alberta. The company says that customers can subscribe to its games packages through authorized Telus dealers, by calling 310-MYTV, or by going to telus.com.
The Visiware interactive TV games packages that are now available to Telus customers are:
Playin'TV, which provides unlimited access to 14 family-oriented games for CAN$4.00 per month or CAN$2.00 per day.
- Playin'Casino, which provides unlimited access to eight casino games for CAN$4.00 per month or CAN$2.00 per day.
- Playin'TV Max, which provides unlimited access to 27 Playin'TV games and all the Playin'Casino games, together with free online games, for CAN$8.00 per month.
- Minikids TV, which provides unlimited access to five educational games targeted at preschoolers for CAN$4.00 per month or CAN$2.00 per day.
- Venus Games, which provides unlimited access to four adult-themed games for CAN$4.00 per month or CAN$3.00 per day.
In addition, Visiware says, Playin'TV, Playin'TV Max, Playin'Casino and Minikids TV are available through "theme packs" (dubbed Arcade Fun, Puzzle & Trivia and Early Learning respectively) that are priced between CAN$5.00 and CAN$8.00 per month. All Visiware's games services on Telus (comprised of up to 44 titles per day, according to the company), except for Venus Games (which is accessed through the Venus portal on channel 747), can be accessed 24/7 through Telus's Game Galaxy portal (channel 550). They are also available in French on Telus's French-language games portal, Galaxie-jeux (channel 150). Telus is Visiware's third Canadian customer--the others being Bell TV and Videotron: Visiware says it expects more deployments in Canada over the course of this year.
