Concert.tv, a Mag Rack Entertainment-owned free VOD service specializing in coverage of live music performances and other music-related programming, said Wednesday that it is teaming with Another Planet Entertainment and Superfly Productions on an SMS-based interactive promotion for the second annual Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in San Francisco.
During August, Concert.tv is running Outside Lands promotional messages that include a text call-to-action for the opportunity to win two free tickets to the three-day festival, which takes place August 28th-30th. The call-to-action invites viewers to send a text message with the words, "Outside Lands" to 70734, in order to be entered into a drawing for the tickets. The company says that three pairs of tickets will be given away under the promotion by August 21st. "By teaming up with Concert.tv, Superfly Presents not only leverages the millions of Concert.tv viewers, but also actively engages fans of live music at the exact moment they are actually enjoying it," Concert.tv CEO, Joe Covey, said in a prepared statement. "This collaboration is the perfect union that will give the fans of live music what they want."
