Adult content provider, Metro Content, has launched a broadband TV site, dubbed RedHotTV.com, that allows viewers to interact with one another while watching pornographic movies. "While traditional IPTV sites simply host streaming movies for user viewing," Metro Content's press materials explain, "RedHotTV enhances the user's experience by allowing communication between viewers." The site's various "channels" contain chatrooms where viewers can comment on the movie they are watching, or, if they prefer, engage with one another in role-playing games and other activities. "RedHotTV has the potential to revolutionize the pairing of IPTV and social networking which is so popular," Metro Content CEO, Ben Jelloun, said in a prepared statement. "We are giving users an opportunity to share their viewing experience with others while engaging in erotic chat, role playing and more--all from the safety, privacy, and comfort of their home. It is truly the ultimate adult movie watching experience."
According to Metro Content, the new site offers a 24-hour schedule of programming; "storyline-driven" content that is designed to appeal to women and couples; and a range of exclusive movies. It will eventually also offer live programming, the company says. Access to the site is offered on a subscription basis, with plans starting at $19.95 per month, though Metro Content is currently offering a 24-hour free pass to new users.
