 Triple-play provider, RCN, said Monday that it is now carrying a free video-on-demand service from Shalom TV, a cable channel devoted to Jewish-themed programming. "We are so thrilled to bring Shalom TV to RCN's customers," Shalom TV president, Mark S. Golub, said in a prepared statement. "RCN provides Shalom TV's unique spectrum of programming--everything from our Jewish Film Festival, Israel and interviews with the leading figures on the world Jewish scene to Shabbat TV Kids and Jewish Studies."
Shalom TV's programming offerings include talk shows hosted at the famous 92nd Street Y and featuring such guests as Jason Alexander, Richard Dreyfus, David Brooks and Bernard-Henri Levy; Jewish-themed children's programs such as "Mr Bookstein's Store," "Agent Emes" and "Great Achievements of the Jewish People"; instructional programs on the Hebrew language, the Talmud and Kabbalah; and extended coverage of AIPAC's annual policy conference.
