Mogulus, a New York-based company which offers a platform that enables amateurs and professionals to produce live and on-demand TV on the Internet (note: the company, which offers "Free" and "Pro" versions of its platform, bills it as offering, among other things, the ability to mix multiple live cameras, imported video clips and overlay graphics, and as allowing producers to broadcast live from a mobile phone, use a customizable Flash player with integrated chat, and develop a branded channel page on Mogulus.com that incorporates interactive chat), will announce today that it is expanding monetization options for customers of its "Pro" platform by adding a plug-in from advertising integrator, Adap.tv.
According to Mogulus, the addition of the Adap.tv plug-in will provide its "Pro" customers with a richer choice of features and functions to use in deriving ad-revenue from their streaming video programs. The company says that it is also participating in Adap.tv's Player Partner Program, in order to "add to the set of media-management services and video-publishing tools available to help customers monetize their video feeds." "Integrating Adap.tv's One Source 2.0 platform as a plug-in to our Mogulus Pro service is a key milestone in enabling Mogulus Pro customers to monetize their live streaming content with pre-roll and overlay inventory from their own internal servers and third-party networks," Mogulus co-founder and CEO, Max Haot, said in a prepared statement. "Since monetization is such a key part of the value we deliver to our customers, we're very pleased to partner with Adap.tv."
