Sky Movies Active - "Sky Box Office"
BSkyB has yet to release a new version of a Sky Movies Active application (built on WML) called "Sky Box Office". Fortunately, Sky sent these screenshots to [itvt] in advance for our edification. This application allows the viewer to access movie clips-on-demand through small video windows arranged in two rows as shown below. Each video clip runs concurrently with the others, but repeates every few minutes or so until producers refresh the video feed. Other components on demand include reviews of movies on Sky, other movies not on Sky channels, movie industry news, trivia contests, tcommerce opportunities to buy moives, voting, and a way to jump to the electronic programming guide.
