The BBC's extensive live coverage of games from this year's Six Nations Rugby Union Championship will feature an ITV application similar to the one used for its FA Cup coverage. Satellite users will be able to select different audio tracks (live TV commentary, the referee's microphone, or just the crowd noise), game highlights, highlights of other games in the Championship, and an extensive range of stats. Digital terrestrial viewers will be able to access a navigable information service, while digital cable viewers will have access to an extended version of that information service, as well as chat rooms. Chat rooms have been featured in the cable versions of several recent BBC applications. The first game will be on February 2nd.
