Two Way TV's Simcast Powers Toonami's New Interactive Programming Block

Toonami, a Turner Broadcasting-owned channel that features action animation targeted at boys, is using Two Way TV's Simcast SMS-to- TV technology (note: Two Way TV acquired the platform via its purchase of Simcast last September) to power a new block of programming that allows viewers to use their mobile phones to interact via on-air quiz, chat and vote services. The programming block, dubbed the "Toonami TXT Zone," launched August 16th, and will air 9:00AM to 12:00PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays for an initial run of three weeks.
