Premium programmer, Showtime Networks, has launched a range of multiplatform and interactive enhancements for its original series, "Dexter" (centers on a serial killer with a strict moral code, played by Michael C. Hall, who delivers vigilante justice). The enhancements include:

The UK's Kent County Council has launched an interactive TV drama series on its broadband video service, Kent TV (note: the latter, which launched in 2007, is intended to bring public information and features about the county to the people of Kent; it is operated by Bob Geldof's media company, Ten Alps).

CBS Interactive last week announced the launch of two new, conceptually similar, interactive broadband video series: "TV in a Flash" for TV.com, and "Sports in a Flash" for CBSSports.com. Each show is a two-minute online wrap-up that offers short content clips in order to provide viewers with updates on the latest news in TV and sports respectively. They were jointly developed by CBS Interactive, sponsor AT&T, and the latter's media agency, Mediaedge: cia.
