NetPlay TV Appoints Broadcast-Industry Veteran, Clive Jones, as Non-Executive Chairman

--Appointment Billed as Helping Company's Push to Offer More Live Interactive TV Gaming

UK-based interactive TV gaming company, NetPlay TV (note: the company recently acquired Two Way Gaming, a joint venture between Two Way TV and Win Gaming, and, as part of that deal, has taken over the production of interactive TV gaming channel, Challenge Jackpot, which offers programming on the UK's Virgin Media cable, Sky satellite and Freeview digital terrestrial platforms--see article posted on itvt.com, May 19th), said Monday that it has named Clive Jones as its non-executive chairman. The company says that Martin Higginson will remain as CEO.

Jean de FougerollesUK-based interactive television company, Two Way Media, announced Monday that CEO, Jean de Fougerolles, will be stepping down after an eight-year stint at the company. De Fougerolles, who led the company's transition from a technology to a content business and who oversaw its sale to investment company, Ingenious Media Active Capital, in 2007, will be replaced by sales director, James Turner.
