New iTV Doctor Column Features Five Interactive TV Executives Who Are Looking for a Gig

[itvt] has just published the latest edition of Rick Howe's regular column, "The iTV Doctor Is In!" Last month, the good doctor announced a new feature called Looking for a Gig, that sees him inviting readers who are looking for a new job "whether full-time or part-time, permanent or temporary, salaried or contract," or who are just interested in seeing what's out there, to email him a brief description of their capabilities.

History UK Launches New Channel Web Sites Featuring Brightcove Video Player, DVR Integration

The History Channel (UK), a joint venture between A&E Television Networks (AETN) and BSkyB, has launched new consumer Web sites for its History (history.co.uk) and Military History (militaryhistory.co.uk) channels. The sites, which were co-produced with AETN International and which debuted July 16th, feature a video player from US broadband video publishing solutions provider, Brightcove, remote recording functionality for the Sky+ DVR, and an interactive timeline.
