Fresh from receiving an Interactive Media Emmy nomination for the "Glee Superfan Experience," an interactive video player it created for Fox's primetime musical series, "Glee" (see the article published on itvt.com, July 8th), Coincident TV--a San Francisco-based start-up that earlier this year launched its "hypervideo" software suite, which it says combines online video, social media, Web links and commerce into a single immersive experience (see the article published on itvt.com, April 13th)--has been tapped by Fox to create a similar offering for the reality show, "So You Think You Can Dance" (SYTYCD).

At the NAB show in Las Vegas Monday, San Francisco-based start-up, Coincident TV (CTV), officially launched its flagship "hypervideo" technology in private beta. The technology--a software suite that the company bills as combining online video, social media, Web links and commerce into a single immersive experience--is currently powering a Facebook-integrated, interactive "social trailer" for Fox's primetime musical series, "Glee" (see the article published on itvt.com, April 6th).

--Represents First Deployment of Company's "Hypervideo" Technology

San Francisco-based start-up, Coincident TV (CTV), contacted [itvt] Monday to let us know that it has been tapped by broadcaster Fox to power a Facebook-integrated, interactive "social trailer" for the primetime musical series, "Glee." The deal represents the first commercial deployment of the company's "hypervideo" technology.
