This video was posted by IDG back in 2010 about work being done at NHK towards various experiemental (at the time) input technologies (e.g. movement sensing, gesture, etc). What's interesting here, however, is the pausing of the TV while the viewer is reading the magazine. Look what happens after with the on-demand content.
