If you like to think about the cosmos (like I do) - its galaxies and planets and beyond - this is a nice clickable way to navigate the almost philosophical musings of the great physicist and dreamer, Carl Sagan. Instead of watching one of his programs all the way through, however, here - at the end of each clip - you can choose your next "adventure" through the skies. Not a very...

Matt creates this clever Annotations game in which the viewer must select the "right" annotation out of 100 created in this video clip to find the "wining" annotation that secures you a prize or prizes. What those prizes are, only Matt seems to know, but what a great idea! If brands and agencies saw this video, they'd realize it was a great idea. When you do click...

This little clever game was actually uploaded to YouTube way back in 2008, but it's still fun. The player tries to prevent the car from experiencing any number of disasters by Clicking an annotation, which sends them to another video and another leg of the adventure. You have to be quick, though! -- Tracy Swedlow, [itvt]

Steve Jobs died today, October 5, 2011. He was a very young 56. Geniuses always seem to die young. I met him a few years ago when I was attending the D&AD Awards in London. He was sitting at the table next to me and with Jonathan Ives, the great art director at Apple. They were being honored for their work.
After the event was over, I went up to him (there were thousands of people...

State Farm has put out a great augmented reality-like interactive ad game experience (very short) using Google maps/StreetView that's a lot of fun. It's called Chaos In Your Town (http://www.chaosinyourtown.com). Make sure to put in an address that you recognize or it won't be as fun. They're coming to get you! -- Tracy Swedlow [itvt]

This is a game where you have to delete the annotations, so original to the YouTube platform! If you choose the difficult mode, you do have to put some effort into it. Good luck. -- Tracy Swedlow

This clickable drive-through-Dublin video is beautifully shot and a nice idea. True - it's a pretty simple concept, but the result is quite beautiful, relaxing and useful. -- Tracy Swedlow, [itvt]

UK-based freelance graphic designer, Robert Allmand, is in the midst of creating a multiplatform, multifaceted interactive story entitled "Howard Glitch."
The first implementation of the story--a YouTube Annotations-based interactive game accompanied by music that Allmand composed himself--is embedded above. Other completed elements include a novel; while planned elements include a...

Fashion brand, French Connection, created this very well done vcommerce shopping service on YouTube called YouTique using the Annotations technology in a special embedded browser. It's very watchable, but to buy something, you have to click on the plus hotspot which takes you out of the video environment to a page where you can purchase the item of clothing (a bit disruptive). This...
