HyperTV & Individualized TV

ACTV, already a public company, offers two types of interactive television technology: HyperTV and Invidualized Television. HyperTV offers content providers a way to coordinate their regularly televised broadcasts with Internet content. Individualized Television is special proprietary cable-based technology which enables viewers to select from four different camera angles at a live event. The Individualized TV system also offers choices of commercials and other types of information and will remember the choices and advertising accordingly. This technology is considered more "interactiveTV" than the other until the digital TV signal mixes Internet and broadcast content.

HyperTV - Play along Web browser chat, gaming, or other with TV broadcast. Video is not part of this interface.


Individualized TV - interactive digital multi-camera live event (e.g. hockey game) switched with viewer's remote control
