NBC is also conducting a promotional push for its fall-season series that lets viewers sample full episodes of new and returning shows on-demand on a range of platforms prior to their broadcast premieres:

  • Comcast, Cox, Charter, DISH Network, Verizon (FiOS) and other MSO's are offering full episodes or season premiere episodes of a number of series ("Knight Rider," "Kath & Kim," "Lipstick Jungle," "Chuck" and "Life") on their VOD services a week before those episodes' linear broadcast. The episodes are all available in HD. In addition, the companies are offering previews and clips of all NBC's other fall shows, and a special entitled "The NBC Primetime Preview Show."
  • The season premieres or pilots of "Knight Rider," "The Biggest Loser," "Lipstick Jungle" "Chuck," "Life" and "30 Rock" are being offered on NBC.com and Hulu a week prior to their broadcast premieres, along with previews and clips of all NBC's other fall shows and the "NBC Primetime Preview Show." The episodes are also being syndicated throughout Hulu's partner sites, including Yahoo!, MSN, AOL, MySpace, Fancast and CNET. This marks the first time that NBC has used Hulu as a promotional distribution network for full episodes prior to a series' broadcast premiere.

  • Amazon's new VOD service is offering downloadable full episodes of the season premieres or pilots of "Knight Rider," "Lipstick Jungle," "Chuck," "Life," "My Own Worst Enemy" and "Kath & Kim" a week before their broadcast premieres.
