Jacked, Raycom Sports in Three-Year Deal for Two-Screen Interactive TV

Santa Monica, Calif.-based two-screen interactive TV specialist,
Jacked, Inc. (note: the company's flagship product, Jacked SportsTop,
is a browser-based virtual desktop that features a dashboard of widgets
and that is designed to provide synchronized two-screen ITV
experiences specifically for sports broadcasts), has signed a three-year
agreement with sports programming producer, Raycom Sports, to
integrate the Jacked SportsTop platform with the latter's broadcasts.

Among other things, the deal designates Jacked as the official
"second-screen publisher" for Raycom-produced NCAA Atlantic Coast
Conference (ACC) and Southeastern Conference (SEC) college football
and basketball games.

The companies say their partnership will allow them to offer a
cross-platform product offering that integrates on-air, online and
in-game promotions with a synchronous dashboard of interactive
content and advertising for ACC and SEC broadcasts. The partnership
is scheduled to officially launch this fall, during the 2008 NCAA
football season, and will support Raycom's SEC and ACC HD football
packages, which the company claims reach over 37 million households
in over 70 markets: Jacked SportsTop will be offered through the sites,
TheACC.com and RaycomSports.com. "The partnership with Raycom
Sports enables Jacked to deliver our SportsTop to a network of sports
fans seeking a deeper connection to the games they are watching,"
Jacked CEO, Bryan Biniak, said in a prepared statement. "This
partnership unites old and new media, opening new advertising
opportunities that can advance the relationship between live broadcast
and online models through geo-targeted and contextual advertising
options targeted to unique viewers, game events and content."

According to Jacked, its SportsTop service currently supports all NBA,
MLB and NHL games, as well as NCAA Division I football and
basketball games. The broadcast-synchronized service presents viewers
with a catalog of customizable widgets which they can add, delete,
resize and save to their preferences. The widgets provide constantly
updated player and game statistics, team photos, videos, news, and
various interactive services, including sports trivia and the ability to
chat with other viewers in real time. Its partnership with Raycom will
see Jacked incorporating a range of Raycom content into SportsTop for
its ACC and SEC broadcasts, including game videos, interviews and
highlights reels.
