Comedy Central is offering its satirical "mock-news" programs, "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and "The Colbert Report," on Apple's iTunes Music Store. Consumers have the option of purchasing individual episodes for $1.99 each or of purchasing a month's worth (16 episodes) of the two shows for $9.99, via a new iTunes feature, called "Multi-Pass," of which Comedy Central is the first iTunes partner to take advantage."We're thrilled to offer 'The Daily Show' and 'The Colbert Report' on iTunes," Eddy Cue, Apple's VP of iTunes, said in a prepared statement. "Our newest feature, 'Multi-Pass,' gives fans the ability to purchase a block of 16 episodes of these hit programs during the current season and have them delivered automatically to their computer after they air on TV." Comedy Central launched its first programming offerings on iTunes in January, making available episodes of "South Park," "Drawn Together," and "Comedy Central Stand-Up."
