DirecTV Provides DVR Customers with Exclusive Preview of "Over There"

US satellite TV provider, DirecTV, provided customers of its "DirecTV DVR with TiVo" service with the first episode of the new Stephen Bochco-produced series, "Over There," two days in advance of its July 27th premiere on cable/satellite channel, FX (note: like DirecTV, FX is owned by News Corp.) DirecTV has also revealed plans to offer its DVR customers 30-minute showcases of the fall programming line-ups of ABC, CBS, NBC, UPN, The WB, HBO and Showtime later this summer. In addition to being automatically downloaded to customers' DVR's, where they will be available for a week, the showcases will air on channel 101.
